Some New Work

Howdy!

As the Ratcliff Creative website transitions into its new form, I wanted to take a moment to share some new work that is not yet posted.

Making Marks

First, some logos. 2025 has been a great year for helping new companies get off the ground with a fresh identity. The Independent Energy logo is up for an HBMA Lantern Award later this month. Although I am known mostly for B2B and technology work, this year I’ve had the good fortune to help build brands for some B2C companies.

Make Work EZ

Partnering with my friends at Highway 9, we created a multi-faceted campaign for EZOps, a web platform designed to help oilfield workers to keep track of all tasks they traditionally put on paper but can now put in one convenient digital location. The platform has a big footprint in other countries but is looking to break into the American market. Targeting Texas, New Mexico and North Dakota, we created a series of billboards, digital airport signage, along with banner and print ads to quickly give high-level benefit messages to the workers in the field. Working with a great client made everything EZ.

Finally, the one that got away

Every once in a while you hit on a great concept, but the client is a little too conservative with their approach to marketing. That happened over the summer with a direct mail campaign for Atkore. They are launching an innovative solution called a thermal break. Briefly, the break keeps wiring and other electronics in industrial refrigeration units safe and dry when housed in places with extreme temperature changes. I thought this headline nailed it.
